A string of narratives and interviews, featuring Nobel Laureate, Wole Soyinka, children’s literature writer, Mabel Segun, German anthropologist, Sabine Jell-Bahlsen and former Heinemann editor, James Currey. It details who she was and what she represented.

Dr Sarah Ntiro on women and education

 

Dr Sarah Ntiro was the first woman university graduate in East and Central Africa and has been a trailblazing pioneer of girls' education throughout her life. She graduated from Oxford University with a BA (Hon) in History in 1954.
